Dear Friends,
I don’t suppose this will be read by many people but it is my only platform so, to you two or three folks who probably already lean toward peacefulness, hear my cry!
With all the fractured relationships between friends, family, political parties and Christians, I call for PEACE.
Let us remember that while we should seek peace and pursue it, we are not guaranteed what we want in this life. But we can cling to a few things:
Let the peace OF GOD rule in your hearts and be thankful.
The peace OF GOD which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Jesus.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him that you may be filled with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
And just a reminder this morning (for me):
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous ones.
Go in peace, you mighty few!
